My imagery is based on architectural spaces, surrounding landscapes, documentations of gestures, and much less, on portraits of individuals and their stories. This lack of documentation on individual people is not a refusal of a humanist approach, but rather an understanding that photography is not fully capable of portraying the extensive story of its subjects. My critical stance on photography’s power is further reinforced by the accompanying formal and fragmented texts. In a sense the whole project is a pursuit towards constituting a more self-analysing and evaluating documentary. All of which is primarily aimed at reevaluating and creating a new more contemporary status for art photography, but also creating a more conscious and aware audience.
